Hi, I'm Lubin. I've written smart contracts and been in the crypto business since 2017.

Volorca came about because I wanted to foster broader utilization and implementation of derivatives on the blockchain. I recognize the advantages that decentralization can bring to derivatives trading, and I believe that the current state of DeFi is conducive for adoption to be accelerated.

While building the initial iteration of Volorca, I found this old adage remarkably relatable:
